# Sessions and hours

> Asia, London and New York windows, and what exists outside US hours.

Futures and forex trade around the clock, so they have data in every session. US stocks and ETFs trade in US hours only, so they have no Asia session.

## Named sessions

| Session | Window (ET) |
| - | - |
| Asia | 7pm to 4am |
| London | 2am to 11am |
| New York | 8am to 5pm |
| Regular trading hours | 9:30am to 4pm |
| Full futures day | 6pm to 5pm |

When you name a session, the Agent states the window it used. Give your own clock times if your sessions differ.

## Examples

* `On NQ, what is the average range of the Asia session over the last 3 months?`
* `Does London usually take the Asia high on ES?`
* `Backtest: buy a break of the overnight high between 9:30am and 10:30am ET on MNQ.`

## If you trade Asian hours

Futures such as NQ, ES, MNQ and MES, and forex pairs such as USDJPY, carry full Asia-hours data. Asian-exchange products (for example the Nikkei or Hang Seng) are not carried today.
