# TraderOS

> A trading desk in one workspace: an Agent that prepares your session, analyses markets and charts, and builds and backtests strategies, and says where every number comes from.

TraderOS helps you make trading decisions with data you can check. You ask the Agent in plain words, it answers from stored market data, and every figure carries its source, the time it is from and how old it is.

> [!WARNING]
>
> TraderOS is analysis, not investment advice. It never places orders.

## What you can do

> **[Prepare your session](https://docs.traderos.ai/agent/ask-the-agent.md)**
>
> Key levels, dealer gamma (GEX) levels, scheduled catalysts, news and the calendar for a ticker or a watchlist.

> **[Analyse markets](https://docs.traderos.ai/agent/what-the-agent-can-do.md)**
>
> Regime and volatility reads, gap, opening-range, ATR and prior-range studies, options flow and the options chain.

> **[Build and test strategies](https://docs.traderos.ai/strategies/backtests.md)**
>
> Describe a setup in words, see it as an explicit specification, backtest it, and see where it fails.

> **[Use your own AI assistant](https://docs.traderos.ai/connect/mcp.md)**
>
> Connect the same read tools to an MCP-capable assistant.

## How it earns your trust

> **Source and age**
>
> Each number says where it comes from and how old it was when it was captured.

> **Observed versus inferred**
>
> A trade on the tape is observed. A sentiment label on it is an inference, and is labelled as one.

> **Honest gaps**
>
> When data is missing, delayed or too thin, the answer says so instead of guessing.
