# Connect TraderOS to Claude

> Add TraderOS to Claude, Claude Desktop or Claude Code over MCP, sign in once, and ask Claude for levels, GEX, options flow, bars and studies.

Claude can read TraderOS market data through a connector. The connection is read-only and uses your own TraderOS account and credits.

The TraderOS connection address is:

```text theme={"dark"}
https://mcp.traderos.ai/mcp
```

**MCP Access** in TraderOS shows the same address and the steps for your assistant. If the two ever differ, use the one in **MCP Access**.

## Claude and Claude Desktop

**1. Open connectors**

In Claude, open **Settings** and then **Connectors**. Menu names change between versions; look for the place that adds a custom connector.

**2. Add TraderOS**

Choose to add a custom connector, name it `TraderOS`, and paste the address above.

**3. Sign in and approve read access**

Claude opens a TraderOS page. Sign in with your TraderOS account and approve read access.

**4. Ask a question**

Start a chat and ask, for example: "What are the key levels and the GEX call and put walls for NQ right now? Show the source and time."

Custom connectors are available on the Claude plans that support them. If you do not see the option, check your Claude plan or your organization's settings.

## Claude Code

Add the server from your terminal, then sign in:

```bash theme={"dark"}
claude mcp add --transport http traderos https://mcp.traderos.ai/mcp
```

Inside Claude Code, run `/mcp`, choose **traderos**, and complete the sign-in in your browser.

## Check that it works

Ask Claude: "List the TraderOS tools you can use." You should see tools for quotes, bars, key levels, GEX, options flow and studies. See [the tool reference](https://docs.traderos.ai/mcp/tools.md) for what each group answers.

## If it does not connect

See [MCP troubleshooting](https://docs.traderos.ai/mcp/troubleshooting.md).
