# Quickstart

> Ask your first question and read the answer.

**1. Open the Agent**

Sign in to TraderOS and open the **Agent**. It is the main workspace: you ask, it answers and builds cards you can open, save and share.

**2. Ask a question with a ticker in it**

Try one of these:

* `What are the key levels for NQ today?`
* `Show NVDA GEX levels and say how old the snapshot is.`
* `How has SPY behaved after a gap down of more than 0.5% over the last 3 years?`
* `Backtest: buy QQQ at the open after a gap down of more than 0.5%, sell at the close, last 3 years.`

**3. Read the answer and the cards**

Numbers come with a source line and an as-of time. Open a card to see the table, the chart or the full report, and save or share it.

**4. Refine, one change at a time**

Ask for the next thing in the same chat: another ticker, a different timeframe, a tighter rule. The Agent keeps the context of the conversation.

> [!TIP]
>
> Name the market and, for sessions, the hours: `NQ, Asia session (7pm to 4am ET)`. See [Sessions and hours](https://docs.traderos.ai/data/sessions.md).

## What it costs

Chat answers and reports use credits, and a backtest is priced and shown before it runs. See [Credits](https://docs.traderos.ai/account/credits.md).
