ChatGPT can read TraderOS market data through an MCP connector. The connection is read-only and uses your own TraderOS account and credits. The TraderOS connection address is:
MCP Access in TraderOS shows the same address. If the two ever differ, use the one in MCP Access.

Add the connector

1

Open connector settings

In ChatGPT, open Settings and find Connectors (it may sit under Apps). ChatGPT adds MCP servers you create yourself under a developer or advanced option; whether it is available depends on your ChatGPT plan and your workspace settings.
2

Create the connector

Choose to add a connector or MCP server, name it TraderOS, paste the address above, and choose sign-in with OAuth.
3

Sign in and approve read access

ChatGPT opens a TraderOS page. Sign in with your TraderOS account and approve read access.
4

Use it in a chat

In a chat, turn the TraderOS connector on, then ask: “What is the prior-day range and the value area for ES? State the session and the time.”

What ChatGPT can and cannot do with it

  • It can read market data, levels, GEX, options flow, studies and your own saved strategies and backtest results.
  • It cannot place orders or change your TraderOS account. It cannot run reports. It can ask for a backtest, which runs only after you approve the card in TraderOS.
  • Every result carries its source, as-of time and age. Ask ChatGPT to show the source and time.

If it does not connect
