A ticker has no data
Ask the Agentdo you have data for XYZ?. If it is not covered, the Agent says so, names the closest thing it does hold and can start a request to add it. It never answers with another instrument’s numbers. See Data coverage.
An answer looks old
Every figure shows its as-of time and age. During market hours 1-minute bars trail the market by a few minutes, and some datasets update less often (see All datasets). If a number is stale the card says so; ask the Agentwhat is the newest data you have for this?.
My backtest did not finish
The Agent tells you what stopped it, in plain words, and whether it is safe to run again. Two common causes:- A rule it could not apply exactly. For example a stop tied to a level that has no price on some bars. Give a number or a level that always exists, such as a fixed number of points, a multiple of ATR, or the far side of the value area.
- A very long window on a 1-minute chart. Shorten the window, or use a 5-minute chart.
My backtest does not match TradingView
Small differences are normal. Check these first:- Futures prices. TraderOS uses the raw continuous contract. A position held across a contract roll books the roll step as profit or loss, and the result says so.
- Session times. A session is dated in New York time. See Sessions and hours.
- Costs. TraderOS includes commission and slippage and shows them separately from the gross result.
why does this differ from my chart? with the date and the trade you are comparing.
