An incognito chat works like any other chat, but nothing in it becomes part of your history or what the Agent remembers about you. Use it for a question you do not want to carry forward.
Start one
On the Agent home screen, click Incognito chat before you send your first message. In an open chat, the same button at the top starts a new incognito chat; it does not change the one you are in. A tag in the chat shows that you are incognito.
What changes
- The chat does not appear in your chat list, your projects, or Recently deleted.
- The Agent does not recall your memory in it, and nothing from it is offered as a new memory.
- It cannot be shared. The Agent tells you if you try.
- The Agent will not write to your Journal from it. It says so and suggests a normal chat. It can still read your own Journal.
- Voice mode works inside it, and the chat stays incognito.
What does not change
Your credits are used the same way, and the Agent uses the same data and tools. Everything else about the answer is the same.
How long it is kept
It is not in your chat list, so leave it only when you are done. We keep it for up to 7 days after your last message, so security and abuse problems can be investigated, then it is erased. Deleting an incognito chat does not remove it earlier. It is also erased if you delete your account. Last modified on November 2, 2026
