Close the day

Choose Close the day from the strip under the Overview header or from the Day page. A close has three parts.
  1. The recap. Answer the recap prompts by typing or by voice. The Agent can draft the recap from your day. The draft is only part of the close once you keep it.
  2. Trades not reviewed. The close lists trades you have not reviewed. You can close anyway.
  3. One focus for tomorrow. Write the one thing you want to hold to next session.
Each account in the close gets its own recap note. The close records what you said and what the books showed at that moment. It never changes a trade. A day with no trades closes like any other. If a part fails to save, your answers stay on screen and a retry sends only what has not saved.

Streaks

The streak counts trading days you closed in a row. It does not count green days.
  • Trading days only. Weekends and market holidays are skipped. They neither count nor break the streak.
  • Close it on its own day. A day counts only if you close it on its trading day, in New York time, and every account’s recap saved.
  • Late recaps. A recap written after the day fills in your history, but it does not restore a broken streak.
  • Today is pending. The current day neither counts nor breaks the streak until it ends.
  • Streak restarted. If you missed a day, the page names it and the streak restarts on the day you close.

Weekly review

The weekly review covers one week, Monday to Friday. Everything numeric is read from the same trades as Overview and the calendar, so the numbers agree. A week with no review still shows its summary. It shows:
  • A strip of the week’s days, with Days closed.
  • Week net P&L, rules kept, and results by strategy.
  • When in the day you entered your trades.
  • Your best and toughest trades of the week, and a pattern the Agent noticed.
You answer three prompts: What went well?, What should change? and One focus for next week. Save the review, or skip it. It is saved as a note in a Reviews notebook, and you can discuss the week with the Agent from the page.
